Only a few days to go and the countdown is most definitely on. With less than a week left, it becomes harder and harder to focus during lengthy business meetings, and we find our minds wandering to the beaches of Portugal, the sweeping Swiss Alps, hiking through the Himalayas or stalking Lions through the Serengeti (with camera’s only). We fly off on Tuesday, August 25/09 and wing our way directly to Paris. We didn’t initially choose Paris for the city, but more the car rental price and proximity to Spain. The initial plan was to land in Paris and head south right away. Since we have both been to Paris before and seen many of the sights we assumed we could by-pass the city. What are we thinking, this is our first trip to France together and we are going to skip the most romantic city in the world. So we will be starting our adventure off with a pleasant few days strolling hand and hand through the Champs-Elysees and munching on croissants at quaint cafes.

Bon Voyage! Wow guys, have an awesome trip. Looking forward to reading the updates as the cold and rain of fall set in here and the routine of life goes on, and you guys are flitting around the world, chasing lions and climbing mountains. Remember, don't trust anyone you to carry their russian dolls over the border!
